I am truly passionate about my profession, and the result is that nearly 100% of my business is by referral from satisfied clients, trusted financial advisors and the most experienced realtors in the Oklahoma City market. With many years in the mortgage industry, my team and I stand ready to assist you each and every step of the way. I understand that it's not just a house, it's your home.

Jennifer Buffington, Sr. Vice President
As the top producer for Spurr Mortgage Corporation, I began my career in 1990 as a loan processor. I have advanced in the mortgage business to my present position as Sr. Vice President. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to perform all aspects of the mortgage business, including processing, origination and underwriting. Due to the strong relationships I maintain with my business partners and both present and former customers, nearly all of my business is by referral. My passion is problem solving and this is often what others state I do best.
On a personal note:
I often tell my friends that 99% of the time, I love the mortgage business. The other 1% of the time, well let's face it, it is a demanding and often stressful line of work. I can truly say that I consider myself very blessed to have found a profession that is both so tremendously challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to the future that lies ahead.
The relationships I have formed with clients, business partners, and associates are the most important part of my daily business. I have a deep commitment to consistently living up to my word and giving those relationships the attention and dedication they deserve.
Outside the office, I strive to live up to this same commitment with my family and friends. I have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Carl, for 13 years. We have three beautiful children, Phoebe age 6, Eddie age 5, and my beautiful newborn daughter Madeline. They are my true inspiration. They understand that "Mommy helps people get money to buy homes!" I often find Phoebe playing loan officer with her calculator and Barbie phone. Now Eddie on the other hand, well let's just say he is all boy.
I believe that passion is at the very heart of what it takes to be successful in business and in life and look forward to working in the mortgage industry for many years to come.

Greg brings over 30 years of mortgage banking experience to Spurr Mortgage. His career has covered all areas of mortgage banking. Bob Adamson, Vice President
I started my career as a loan officer in 1978 in Enid, Oklahoma. I have worked at every level of management in the mortgage industry. In 2008 I joined Spurr Mortgage as a Vice President originating home loans in the Enid area. Most of my business comes from my Realtor partners and over 30 years of customers. I recently closed an FHA loan on a fourth generation customer.
On a personal note:
Sherry and I enjoy spoiling our 12 grandchildren and then sending them back to their parents. The grandkids enjoy it too, until they get back home. We are also avid golfers and travel the Southwest playing couples tournaments. We meet a lot of people this way and make great friendships. This is also a great referral source for me.

Sharyn Williams, Sr. Vice President
Sharyn has 30 years experience in the mortgage industry and has excelled in all aspects of the industry. She has held several positions in the mortgage industry including underwriter, wholesale account executive, finance trainer, instructor, mortgage originator, and now Sr. Vice President. Prior to entering the mortgage business, she was a real estate broker and opened the first Re/Max office in that state of Oklahoma.
Her philosophy is that each mortgage transaction is unique. Each customer's needs are individual to their personal situation. She enjoys being a mortgage loan officer and being able to offer her customers a variety of loan options versus the mortgage banker "cookie cutter" approach to mortgage lending.
Regardless of your particular problems, whether you have credit issues, self-employed income issues, first time homebuyer or need a non conforming jumbo loan, she prides herself on knowing the perfect loan program to meet your specific needs.
On a personal note:
I believe in setting priorities in your life. My first priority is my family. I'm very fortunate. I've been married to my best friend for 42 years. We have two wonderful sons and have been blessed with two beautiful and precious grandchildren. Whoever said you don't know true love is until you have grandchildren, was right on the money. I've had many titles in my life, but "Granny" is my proudest.
My work comes next. I truly enjoy the challenge of helping people get the right mortgage for them. I've been fortunate to have many customers that I have worked with through the years and then have been honored in helping their children when it comes time for them to purchase that first home. (Lately, it's been a grandchild or two as well. Where have the years gone?)
My singular hobby and one I have a true passion for is family research. As an amateur genealogist, I have spent many, many hours of enjoyment. I have not only researched my own family, but have also done research for sveral friends, cousins, etc. I've become a true student of history through this research.

Brett Bayne, Loan Officer
It is exciting and a pleasure to still be associated with Harold and Jennifer since the three of us started providing financing for Oklahoma real estate needs. However, I sort of wander "off of the reservation" from time to time into other real estate directions. Spurr mortgage has been a stable and reliable source of real estate finance to our community for over 18 years.
Spurr mortgage allows me to bring a wide and deep range of real estate experience to our clients. Spurr clients have the benefit of my years in the appraisal profession along with executive positions in the banking, mortgage banking, and savings and loan business. Holding real estate broker licenses in California, Texas, and Oklahoma has allowed me to provide better counseling for our clients. I even have discovered a financial software service that can help our clients manage their cash flow more efficiently than anyone has ever dreamed possible. Now, instead of our burrowers remaining in debt most of their lives with our loans, I am able to show them how to easily be debt free in an incredibly short period of time. This means financial freedom and retirement is a reality for Spurr clients. Neither my degree in mathematics now my MBA studies could comprehend this financial tool.
So, it is wonderful to be part of the Spurr team in order to contribute some of the most innovative and up to date tools in the mortgage business. It is great continuing to expand our financial services for our clients. Our client's financial well being is my number one goal. They shouldn't expect excellence in addition to superior service and concern.
